Just as I was coming to terms with having FoMoCo stickers all over the car, this happened.


Well I couldn't take the rattle coming from BOTH rear door trims anymore. So I decided to have a go at removing them and investigating.

4 Screws later and a bit of prodding with the screwdriver I had the trim off, started looking around for what could be causing it when I spotted something that just didn't seem right. Right there proudly displayed in the middle of a grommet about an inch in diameter bold as brass those letters stood out.......


VOLVO

Ah well, at least it is well hidden.


P.S. Rattles cured for now, bit of electrical tape on the trim clips.

Nice one.
The dealer would have probably had mechanics looking for that rattle for hours, only for you to be told they can't locate it and you will have to live with it
